Simple Plan

歌词

Do you ever feel like breaking down?
Do you ever feel out of place?
Like somehow you just don't belong
And no one understands you
Do you ever wanna run away?
Do you lock yourself in your room?
With the radio on turned up so loud
That no one hears you screaming
No you don't know what it's like
When nothing feels all right
You don't know what it's like
To be like me
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like
Welcome to my life
Do you wanna be somebody else?
Are you sick of feeling so left out?
Are you desperate to find something more?
Before your life is over
Are you stuck inside a world you hate?
Are you sick of everyone around?
With their big fake smiles and stupid lies
While deep inside you're bleeding
No you don't know what it's like
When nothing feels all right
You don't know what it's like
To be like me
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like
Welcome to my life
No one ever lied straight to your face
And no one ever stabbed you in the back
You might think I'm happy but I'm not gonna be okay
Everybody always gave you what you wanted
You never had to work it was always there
You don't know what it's like, what it's like
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like (what it's like)
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like
Welcome to my life
Welcome to my life
Welcome to my life

He broke down and wept.

Her remarks were quite out of place.

3. turn up“把...

4. lock sb/oneself out of or in sth表示“有意或者无意地把某人或者自己锁在某地不得进出”,比如说,At 9 pm the prisoners are locked in for the night. I've left my keys in the office and I'm locked out.

5. leave sth or sb out表示“忽略,排除在外”,被人排除在外的感觉当然是不好受的,比如说,I was left out of the discussion.

6. To be kicked when you're down

You don't love him. You're just pushing him around.

8. on the edge of doing sth表示“在某种状态的边缘,马上就要...”。 She was a bit on edge till she heard he was ok.

9. be sick of sth/sb I'm sick of your constant complaints. 为了表示厌烦的程度很强,我们可以说be sick to death of sb/sth,表示“讨厌死某人或者某物了”,举个例子,I'm sick to death of eating boiled cabbage every day. I'm sick and tired of your constant complaints.

10. be desperate to do sth表示“非常想做某事,拼命做某事”,比如说,I'm desperate to see you.

We were stuck with unexpected visitors.

The painting looked old but was a recent fake.

13. lie straight to one's face

14. It was always there当中 it 并不是特指某样东西,而是泛指事物,那种不知生活疾苦的人是不了解歌者的心情。
