I Will Miss You When You Are Gone

(To Harvard University Professor Lewis M. Brabscomb and

George Mason University Professor Thomas Ratchford)

In the past,

Of love,

We were born,

At present,

By love,

We live,

In the future,

Full of love,

We will leave,

Yesterday,

When that abundance of lovely

Youth was sitting in front,

Of the purpose and meaning of life

I was reminded,

Convinced that it is the rain and dew of love

That moistens the living world,

I thank you,

The might of love,

The might of America,

Feeling that it is love which is bound

To ensure the longevity of my beloved,

And my own,

I am grateful to you,

My lover for life,

My friends.

With love.
